What is Kydex?
<p>Kydex<sup>®</sup> is a thermoplastic material manufactured by Kydex, LLC. This material was originally introduced in the aircraft interiors, and now has a wide variety of applications including firearm holsters and knife sheaths. The material is also widely used in the medical equipment.</p>
<p>For holster applications, It’s an incredibly durable thermoform plastic that has fantastic retention qualities. It won’t break, retain moisture or odors, and it cleans up with a simple rinse of soap and water.</p>
Will Kydex Scratch my gun?
<p>All holsters can wear a firearms finish. Kydex<sup>®</sup> is the best material on most firearm finishes because it doesn’t tend to trap dirt, sand, moisture like a leather or nylon holster will.</p>
What size belt do I need?
<p>Our OWB holsters will fit 1 ½” or smaller belts. These loops will accommodate most belts. For a small additional charge, we can use 1 ¾” loops. These loops will accommodate nearly every tactical or oversized belt.</p>
<p>Our IWB holsters will accommodate any 1 ¾” or smaller belt.</p>
Can you make a holster for my gun with a tactical light?
<p>Yes, we can. However, we will probably need gun and light or one just like it. Please email us at info@casualconcealment.com to find out if we can accommodate your gun light combination. <strong>DO NOT MAIL US A FIREARM. </strong></p>
My gun is not listed on your website, can you make a holster?
<p>In many cases, we still accommodate this request. Please email us at info@casualconcealment.com with your make, model and caliber of firearm.</p>
Can you do a one-off custom print?
<p>Yes, we can. Please email us at info@casualconcealment.com with a high-resolution .jpg file. There may be an additional art set-up fee.</p>
Will my holster loosen up over time?
<p>It’s doubtful that the retention will ever wear out on your holster. However, if it does, send it back to us, and we will be happy to re-set it for you.</p>
Does my holster have a warranty?
<p>Yes. We think our warranty is the best in business. Read our <a href="https://casualconcealment.com/warranty/">Warranty Information page</a> for all the details.</p>
How do I become an authorized dealer for your holsters?
<p>If you manage a gun store, and would like to be able to mold Casual Concealment Holsters at your store, we can work with you. To become an authorized dealer, email us at info@casualconcealment.com to request dealership information.</p>
